Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project execution across all project sites in Delta State.

• Translate the overall project schedule into site-level workplans, activities and deliverables.

• Supervise and coordinate Site Managers, EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.

• Monitor progress of civil works, solar PV, BESS, electrical distribution, metering and grid-interconnection activities.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety and compliance with approved designs and specifications.

• Track project materials, equipment deliveries and contractor mobilisation across sites.

• Coordinate site-level testing, commissioning, punch-list closure and project handover activities.

• Support coordination with relevant regulatory bodies, Distribution Companies (DisCos), local authorities, communities and other stakeholders on site-level matters.

• Monitor site-level project costs, contractor deliverables and approved work scopes in coordination with the Lagos-based Project Manager.

• Identify risks, delays, technical issues and resource constraints and drive their resolution at the state level.

• Ensure compliance with project HSE and Environmental & Social requirements across sites.

• Prepare consolidated weekly site/project progress reports, including photographs, milestones, risks, issues and required management actions, for the Project Manager.

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, meetings, approvals, variations, materials and contractor performance.

• Support the Project Manager with information required for project reporting, milestone submissions and project reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 3–5 years of project delivery experience, preferably in renewable energy, solar PV, mini-grid, power distribution, EPC or infrastructure projects.

• At least 2 years of practical experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams on field-based projects.

• Working knowledge of solar PV systems, BESS, electrical distribution and grid-interconnected systems.

• Experience managing project schedules, site activities, contractors, materials and project documentation.

• Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), site layouts and construction drawings.

• Experience working with Nigerian utilities, government agencies or development-funded energy projects is an advantage.

• Experience working on renewable energy, mini-grid, power distribution or similar infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

• Candidates based in Delta State or willing to be stationed in Delta for the duration of the project are strongly preferred.

Software & Tools

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project-management/scheduling tools.

• Familiarity with project reporting platforms is an advantage.

• Ability to use digital tools for site reporting, GPS/location capture, photographs and document management.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing-review software is an advantage.
