You’ll analyze markets, forecast trends, and deliver insights that support business decisions across operations and trading teams. Job Description
Market Analysis
• Monitor and analyze gas market trends and pricing
• Develop forecasts and predictive models
• Provide insights to support trading and operational decisions
• Track competitor activities and market shifts
• Identify risks and opportunities in supply and demand
Reporting & Collaboration
• Communicate findings to trading, operations, and leadership teams
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Collaborate across teams to implement data-driven decisions
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools
• Support weekly and monthly performance reviews
Process Improvement & Learning
• Recommend improvements to analytics and reporting processes
• Stay up to date with market developments and regulatory changes
• Support strategic planning with analytical insights
• Automate routine analysis to improve efficiency
• Enhance data collection and validation methods
Administrative & Strategic Support
• Provide administrative support to the Gas Insight project, including documentation, meeting coordination, and report compilation.
• Act as a Chief of Staff-type resource, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities, project execution, and stakeholder expectations.
• Support management with insights, research, and recommendations for decision-making.
• Coordinate stakeholder updates and follow-ups • Maintain organized project documentation and timelines
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or stakeholder management, preferably in the energy or gas sector.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple moving parts and deliver within timelines.
